Scott Jacobsen

Mr. Jacobsen is an Associate in the Firm’s New York office and focuses on securities class action, corporate governance, shareholder rights, and other complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Prior to joining HRSC, Mr. Jacobsen was an Associate at Scott+Scott Attorneys at Law LLP, practicing in the securities litigation and corporate governance and shareholder rights practice groups. Mr. Jacobsen has successfully litigated cutting edge shareholder rights and corporate governance questions, and attained significant recoveries on behalf of shareholders in his investigation of compliance issues in industries ranging from financial services, to healthcare, to big tech.

Mr. Jacobsen is admitted to the Bars of the states of New York and New Jersey, and the Southern District of New York and District of New Jersey.

Mr. Jacobsen attended The George Washington University, obtaining a Bachelor and Master of English and graduating magna cum laude. He earned his J.D. at the William & Mary Law School in 2014.
